Tirzepatide is a synthetic linear peptide of 39 amino acids with a C-terminal amide. It contains two α-aminoisobutyric acid (Aib) residues, at positions 2 and 13, and the lysine at position 20 carries a C20 fatty diacid attached through a γ-glutamic acid and two 8-amino-3,6-dioxaoctanoic acid (OEG) linker units. Supplied as a lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial for laboratory research and analytical use.
One sealed vial of lyophilized compound, labeled with its lot number. The batch COA is in our COA Library.
Syringes, needles or usage instructions. RWP Laboratories sells research materials only.
This page lists chemical identity, specifications, storage conditions and batch documentation only.
Lys* carries a C20 fatty diacid through a γGlu-2xOEG linker. Aib = α-aminoisobutyric acid.
Reference values from public chemical databases. The certificate of analysis for your lot is the authority for that vial.
Sealed vials at 2 to 8 °C (36 to 46 °F), protected from light, as printed on the label. Freeze at −20 °C for long-term storage.
Let cold vials reach room temperature to prevent condensation on the powder.
Store in the original sealed vial, dry and away from light, until the material is needed.
More detail in our storage and handling guide.
By mass spectrometry. At about 4,813 Da the peptide appears as several multiply charged ions, and the deconvoluted mass on the lot COA should match the theoretical value.
Yes. Every lot is tested for identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC before release. The lot number on your vial matches its COA in our COA Library.
Keep sealed vials refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C (36 to 46 °F) and protected from light, as printed on the label. For long-term storage, freeze at −20 °C. Let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening. See our storage guide.
