Synthetic 43-residue N-acetylated peptide (thymosin β4), supplied as a lyophilized powder.
For research use only. All products are sold strictly for laboratory research and analytical use and are not for human consumption. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or supplements. We do not sell syringes or needles.
TB-500 is the catalog name for synthetic thymosin β4, a linear peptide of 43 amino acids with an acetylated N-terminus. Some suppliers use the name for the much shorter LKKTETQ fragment, so the mass-spectrometry result on the batch COA confirms which material a vial contains. Supplied as a lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial.
One sealed vial of lyophilized compound, labeled with its lot number. The batch COA is in our COA Library.
Syringes, needles or usage instructions. RWP Laboratories sells research materials only.
This page lists chemical identity, specifications, storage conditions and batch documentation only.
N-terminal acetylation.
Reference values from public chemical databases. The certificate of analysis for your lot is the authority for that vial.
Sealed vials at 2 to 8 °C (36 to 46 °F), protected from light, as printed on the label. Freeze at −20 °C for long-term storage.
Let cold vials reach room temperature to prevent condensation on the powder.
Store in the original sealed vial, dry and away from light, until the material is needed.
More detail in our storage and handling guide.
The name is used for both. Full-length thymosin β4 has a mass near 4,963 Da; the LKKTETQ fragment is under 900 Da. The mass-spec section of the lot COA shows which one a vial contains. RWP Laboratories supplies the full 43-residue sequence.
Yes. Every lot is tested for identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC before release. The lot number on your vial matches its COA in our COA Library.
Keep sealed vials refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C (36 to 46 °F) and protected from light, as printed on the label. For long-term storage, freeze at −20 °C. Let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening. See our storage guide.
No. RWP Laboratories does not sell or supply syringes or needles, and does not provide usage instructions.
